Week 42 Continued - More donations arrive.  Betsy sent over three more huge boxes of donations for the people of the Philippines that were in need from the storm.  Here the missionaries are carrying in the boxes to the Mission Home

The missionaries invited families one by one or two by two to come to the mission home and pick out clothing the could use.  It made Jessica's mom so happy to see people getting the clothes.  That's why she collected them and paid for them to be shipped over at her own expense.

Here Jessica is with her current companion Sister Pacion (check spelling) and with her trainer Sister Calaunan.

February 26, 2014 Jessica is transferred to Calapacuan
This was a total surprise - but understandable since the
Tacloban Missionaries went back to Tacloban

Jessica on the podium stand because she is a Sister Leader Trainer.

Jessica looks so happy, so does Sister Burt and the mission President's wife.
Week 46 - The mission met their mission goal and had 188 new member baptisms, and 212 reactivations.  The whole mission got together for some fun.
Hi - it's me - way over here in the corner

On the podium stand for the Mission wide conference

Why the sad faces???
Holy Week is very different in the Philippines.  People walk the streets with their faces covered flagging themselves to the point of bleeding.  Some even nail themselves on a cross to be crucified like Christ.  Some have died from it.

Jessica really enjoyed General Conference with Sister Burt and the other missionaries in her zone.

Reunion with Sister Calaunan
Sister together again!
